On 26 June, Häfele India Pvt Ltd hosted AHK Sri Lanka’s second quarterly HR Sector Committee meeting at the Häfele Design Centre in Colombo. Hafele presented a thought -provoking presentation which took place along side a knowledge sharing session among industry stakeholders on the topic “Driving Continuous Improvement: Smart Ideas. Big Impact. Better Every Day,” which highlighted the success stories, best practices and impressive outcomes. The presentation was based on a systematic framework inspired by the Japanese concept of Kaizen.
Built on the core principle that small, incremental changes sustained over time can lead to significant long-term improvements in quality, efficiency, and workplace culture, Häfele has structured its implementation around five elements: Idea Management, Dare – A Challenge, SPOC Initiatives, Cross-Functional Learnings, and Knowledge Bytes. Together, these elements have strengthened structured execution, driven meaningful growth, and provided valuable insights for other member companies looking to adopt similar practices within their own HR sectors.
We thank Häfele for hosting our HR Sector Committee members and the warm hospitality they have provided.
