Ms. Roshali Nakandala, Head of Human Resources & Corporate Communication at B. Braun Lanka, presented the company’s approach to embedding sustainability in its people strategy. She shared insightful examples of activities that encourage employees to take part in environmental initiatives and put the company’s values into practice.
The presentation was followed by a lively exchange on B. Braun’s innovative cross-border mobility program, which offers employees opportunities to develop their experience across markets. Members also discussed the use of AI in HR, including tools for answering employee policy questions and supporting recruitment.
Mr. Martin Klose, Chief Delegate of AHK Sri Lanka, introduced upcoming activities, including a planned Job Fair combined with a Christmas Market at the Goethe-Institute, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institute and DAAD. The event is intended to connect companies with students from PASCH schools and learners from the Goethe-Institute’s German language courses to explore future employment opportunities. Companies interested in meeting them in December are invited to contact AHK Sri Lanka.
We sincerely thank B. Braun Lanka and Ms. Roshali Nakandala for hosting our HR Sector Committee members and for their warm hospitality. The meeting ended with networking over finger food and drinks, and guests received thoughtful gifts that reflected the ESG theme practiced by B. Braun Lanka.
