Senior Expert Service​ (SES)

The SES is Germany’s leading organization for experts and executives who are either retired or taking some time off work, available to offer their assistance to Sri Lankan organizations.

Sri Lanka has access to SES services through AHK Sri Lanka. Some experts have come to Sri Lanka to share their knowledge with local companies, helping to uplift employees' skills. This collaboration has significantly contributed to the development of various industries by enhancing local expertise and fostering sustainable growth.

The SES supports organisations such as:

What Are the Requirements for Requesting SES?

First, the company should identify a specific need for expertise in areas such as management, technical skills, or specialized knowledge. They then submit a detailed request to AHK Sri Lanka, outlining their requirements and the objectives they hope to achieve. AHK Sri Lanka will coordinate with SES Germany to match the company with a suitable expert, typically a retired professional with significant experience in the relevant field. Your company is responsible for covering the expert’s travel, accommodation, and local expenses.
