A key highlight of the meeting was an insightful presentation by Mr. Suresh Muttiah, Chief Human Resources Officer at Aitken Spence who provided a comprehensive overview of the proposed Sri Lanka Employment Act, highlighting the major obligations and regulatory changes anticipated under the upcoming legislation, which is yet to be officially enacted.
The knowledge-sharing session was followed by an engaging networking opportunity, allowing committee members to exchange ideas and strengthen professional connections.
