Sri Lankan Pavilion Shines at 88th International Green Week in Berlin

The Sri Lanka pavilion at the 88th edition of the International Green Week (IGW) trade exhibition in Berlin, Germany (19 to 28 January, 2024) showcased Sri Lankan exports at one of the largest trade fairs in the world for food, agriculture, and horticulture. The pavilion was organized by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka (AHK Sri Lanka) to promote Sri Lankan food products on the international level, marking it the fourth time AHK Sri Lanka has curated the Sri Lankan pavilion at IGW. With over 1,400 exhibitors from 65 countries and a remarkable attendance of more than 400,000 visitors, the IGW garnered extensive coverage from over 1,900 accredited journalists representing 25 countries.

AHK Sri Lanka had invited the Honourable Minister of State for Investor Promotion, Dilum Amunugama, to lead the delegation along with other government officials and representation of the Sri Lankan business community. This was the first time that Sri Lanka had officially participated at the Hannover Messe which is considered to be the world’s leading industrial trade fair.
